Guys, when it is time for you to pop the question, you will need to present your lovely lady with a ring that will actually fit her finger, and not have it flopping around or worse yet, not even be able to slip over her knuckle!
If you have decided to take the plunge and are looking for that perfect diamond ring in the perfect size, here are a few ways for you to find out what size ring your lady wears on that important finger.
~ One of the simplest ways to find out what size she wears is to ask her family or friends if they know. Of course they may have no idea either, but if they do, you are in luck! If they don”t, ask one of them to take a ring that she wears on her ring finger and trace it on a sheet of paper. Take that paper to the jeweler and find the ring sizer that fits that circle.
~ Another way is to borrow one of her other rings for a time. Just make sure you can get it back into her jewelry box before she notices it missing! Also make sure it is a ring that she wears on the same finger as she will wear her wedding ring.
~ My husband came up with an ingenious plan that didn”t even require borrowing one of my rings. He simply told me a ring I wore was cute and asked to see it up close, then when he had it in his hand, he placed it on his finger to see where it stopped. Then, when at the jewelers, he tried on the ring sizer to find the one that fit just to the place where mine had come to on his finger. Is he amazing or what?!
