“Destiny”

I just want to give you feedback on what an amazing experience we had having our wedding at Electra Cruises.

Planning the wedding:

Susan helped me from the first time I walked into Electra Cruises last September. She was welcoming and friendly. I felt like we were old friends! For the next 8 months she was patient, fun, and prompt with responses. When we had face to face meetings, I always felt better when I left Electra Cruises than when I went in. Jessica filled in when Susan was busy and I she also is wonderful and always made sure my questions were answered. They went above and beyond by being interested in my bridesmaids’ dresses, invitations, and other details that weren’t related to Electra Cruises. I always felt like I was working with friends.

Day of wedding:

Jean at LaVonne’s Florist did an excellent job. She worked with me to make sure I got the most for my money. On my wedding day, the flowers were fresh and gorgeous!

I worked with Shelby at Cinderella Cakes and she did a fantastic job. I dropped off silk flowers at their Laguna Niguel location, texted her a photo for flower placement, and was apprehensive that my order would turn out right. It all went without a hitch. The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious as well!

JR (the DJ) was easy to work with. We didn’t get our song list to him until two days before the wedding, and he played everything we asked. I really enjoyed his piano and sax playing as well, which in my opinion was a very classy touch. The groom plays saxophone and wanted to play a song for me during the ceremony. JR got all the background music queued up for him and it went beautifully.

While I’ve only seen a few photos so far, Nico from Nico Photo Studio was friendly and professional. He took charge and made the photos go quickly. He has been easy to work with from the beginning, and always prompt with a response when I have texted him a question. The few photos I’ve seen are gorgeous.

The staff on Destiny was INCREDIBLE! The food was excellent, the yacht was clean, dirty dishes were swiftly taken away, and the staff smiled and was friendly to all our guests.

I saved the best for last… Jen, my day of coordinator. I could write 10 pages about how awesome she is, but I’ll try to just give the highlights! She sat everything up perfectly: tent cards, table #’s, centerpieces, fresh olive leaves on the cake, EVERYTHING! When my bridesmaids and I hid before walking down the aisle, she brought us a plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, and glasses of champagne. When she brought the groom and I salads during dinner and I told her we were both allergic to walnuts, she quickly took them away and brought fresh ones. We had some elderly guests who mostly stayed on the first floor. I was told the next day how she kept checking on them and brought cake downstairs for them. It means so much to me knowing they were taken care of and felt special. When the night was over, she had all of my belongings taken to Lido House, where we were staying. The next day I saw that she had meticulously repacked everything (including 9 large blue and white vases) exactly as I had brought them. Then later in the day, she texted me a Congratulations! I hit the jackpot with her being assigned to our wedding.
