best day of our life

Thanks to Electra Cruises,

Our wedding day was literally the best day of our life. I spent months worrying that something that something was going to go wrong (like every bride does), and the whole thing went without a hitch – it was an absolutely perfect night.

What we loved most about Electra Cruises was that they make planning your wedding easier than I could’ve imagined possible. Everything we were looking for was already so cleverly consolidated. All of the chairs, tables, linens, and furniture were already on the boat.

Each boat has a kitchen, so you don’t need to look for a caterer. They often hold events where couples who’ve booked with them can meet all of their vendors all in one place, and taste test potential menu items for your wedding day. During this event, we found our officiant, cake people, and photographer, and couldn’t have been happier with our decision.

Florist – No florist, we kept it simple and it was still so beautiful!
DJ – No DJ! We had a live band, and it sounded great on the boat.

Susan kept us organized, and Star kept the night running smoothly. They let us visit our boat multiple times prior to the wedding so that we could measure and plan our decorations easily. They gave us enough time prior to our wedding to set up our decorations, and it seemed the whole wedding was cleaned up with magic at the end.

To top it all off, the boats are all so, so beautiful. We had a wedding themed after Disney’s The Princess and The Frog, and the New Port Princess seemed to come right out of the movie. Speaking of which, the business was named after the Electra boat, which was featured in Marilyn Monroe’s Some Like It Hot. (fun fact ? )
